Apegenine re-released a compilation on bandcamp the other day and it contains the very 1st song I ever wrote on renoise. That song was a Vocal version of the OST I did for an Iphone game in 2008 called “Venger“. I still have grand dreams of releasing the OST online along with the renoise files but we’ll see how that goes.
The label owner had mentioned on twitter that ‘Venger’ was one of the Favorite things he had the chance to release. Thank you Vincent that means a lot to me.
So if you’ve got your shiney new iphones and you can’t afford games just yet. Venger the game I did music for has just been release in a lite version which just means a demo of one level. Try it out and let me know what you think ..
I have a show on the 8th of next month at the valley studios too, I’ll be putting up some banners and posters soon. Dizzy Gothica and a TBA band are joining us. It’s going to be a great night! See you there.
Mystery solved. I’ve been working on the sound track for an iphone game called ‘venger’ which just hit the app store last night. It’s getting positive reviews and is a 3d version of old classic shoot’em’up games.
I will be posting the vocal version of the tune shortly so keep an eye out for that, I could be coaxed into releasing the ingame version but it was edited to make it work for a game.
A big thank you to Wretched Studio’s for asking me to help out on their 1st game and I hope we can continue to work together to make sweet music (that sounds .. um .. bad doesn’t it? )
