  Ten days before her departure from Australia, Georgia Potter and her band hit The Zoo for one final hometown show on Thursday February 10. A not to be missed evening of stellar music, this is the final opportunity to see her perform before she splits for Europe. If you still think of Georgia as Brisbane’s folk darling, you are behind the times.
  
  Performing as a seven piece with an all-new band featuring The Family-Yah, producer Timeshare and a host of new material, the set will see Georgia out from behind the instruments and running amuck at the front of the stage. This is going to be one hell of a going away party for the local chanteuse and tickets are already selling fast. The night will also feature the highly anticipated debut performance from Killbot Kindergarten and Hunz.

  Santa Claus is coming to town… and this year he’ll be attending the very special ‘A Ghetto Xmas’’.
  
  Following the Whitelight/Blacklight warehouse parties and the Animal Masquerade Party, breakthrough Indie Music event promoters Sceneless Brisbane, in association with x&y bar present ‘A Ghetto Xmas’ on December 18th 2010. This event is a veritable, cross-music-genre event with a hip-hop flava featuring some of Brisbane’s finest local artist; Reggae-Roots-Rap (Spacifix), Indie-Folk (Tim Nelson and The Cub Scouts), Punk-Pop-Chaos (Tiger Beams) and Electro (Hunz), while the decks will be controlled by Hip-Hop-Dub trio Arab Israeli Crisis DJs in what will be a xmas party like no other and it’ FREE ENTRY!!!
  
  Yes, you heard right, the Sceneless team and x&y are opening the doors to seasonal merriment for absolutely FREE. But wait, there is more; Santa will be handing out xmas presents to the first 100 Christmas ravers, there will be breakdancers, local MCs (including Sunny Dread) carving lyrical throughout the night and I heard a rumor about superband mash-up! Plus for one night only, a special secret DJ set and rap battle, from a duo to be revealed shortly before the event.
